Saving The Whale

While out in the sea of Cortez whale researcher, Michael Fishbach, and his family encountered a rare opportunity- the chance to save the life of a young humpback whale on the brink of death.

They approached the whale but it was close to death. It wasn’t moving. Suddenly it blew out of its blow hole.

The whale was tangled in a net. It couldn't move.

Michael cut the net off the whale with a knife. It took a long time in 1 hour.

Then the Whale jump up high in the water and crashes down in the water.

Rugby

My weekend

In the weekend I went with my brother to play hide and go-seek. I ran to my bedroom and hid but my brother found me. It was my turn to seek him. I found him and decided to scare him. He cried ,”I’m going to tell on you,” and went to go tell Mum. Mum said to me “Go play nicely with your brother” and so we went and played our game.

Swimming

Last week I went with my class and Room 16 to the swimming pool. I like to do a powerful kick holding the flutter board. I was learning to do steady strokes and breathing.
